Day One: Pittsburgh

By

A first day on the road brought a gorgeous walk through my former homeland of Pittsburgh, PA. Riverwalks along the Allegheny and bridges a’plenty remind of how this city sits on par with modern day well known bastions of popular urban dwelling like Austin and Portland. If you find yourself in the fortunate graces of visiting the former Steel City (now the City of Bridges for holding the honor of most urban bridges in the world after Venice), I might suggest Ellsworth St in Shadyside, walking the shore between the Bucco’s stadium and Heinz Field, home base of the Pittsburgh Steelers, maybe a stroll downtown and a ride up the Duquesne Incline for some Mt. Washington views after nightfall.

Personally, I couldn’t be happier with the days’ turnout.
