A Year or So in Mexico: Part 1: Baja California
In 2016, along with our friends Mali Mish, we headed to Mexico in our Volkswagen Bus, driving the length of the great states of Baja California.
Summer in the Pacific Northwest
Living amongst the big trees, craggy coastline and Wookie Wonderland of the Pacific Northwest.
I Left My Heart on the 395: The Eastern Sierras
Traveling US 395 in Eastern California. Lone Pine to Lee Vining, Mt. Whitney to Devil’s Postpile, a family of six living, working and loving the best they can in a 1978 Airstream.
Lands of Cacti and Yuccas
A family of full-time travelers living out of an Airstream and their time amongst the saguaros of Arizona.
West Texas
Traversing the big, empty deserts and still authentic small towns of the western corner of one of our favorite states. Marathon to Terlingua, Big Bend to Fort Davis, in a vintage Airstream travel trailer.
Florida
Our family of six touring around Florida’s state and national parks while living in our 1976 Airstream travel trailer. We make these movies for us, but you may like them, too. From northern FL parks like O’Leno and Paynes Prairie to the Florida Keys to Everglades & Big Cypress and then up the West Coast and out through the Panhandle…
Chasing Autumn
For most people, Autumn is a fleeting season where the leaves come and go within a week or two. We decided to chase them from Pennsylvania to Georgia for what culminated in over two months of Fall splendor.
Vandwelling Delmarva
In the summer of 2014, the Lady and I took our two younger boys on a trip around the Delmarva Peninsula. This is that story, but so much more…it’s the definition of why I keep us all traveling.
Heartlands & Hometowns
July 5th, 2014, we left Colorado and booked it across the plains to reconnect with our home states of Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Campwagon
As the summertime blended off into autumn, we packed up into our 1978 Volkswagen Bus once again, this time to tour state parks of the Appalachian Mountains.
Into the Rockies
Traveling in our Airstream from Arizona’s Petrified Forest and all into and through the Rocky Mountains.
Oceans & Deserts
Two months worth of our family’s full-time travels, from the Redwoods of Northern California to the Sierra Nevadas and on to Utah’s “Mighty Five” National Parks.
A Traveling Family, 2014
Accounts of a family that travels.
A Bus Life
Tristan, the Lady and I–along with our old dog Deputy–living, traveling and loving out of a VW Bus for a year.
Meet Stella
I drove my 2001 Genuine Scooter from Nederland, Colorado to Marathon, Texas. 1100 miles, here’s the video…
An October in Loveland
